Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Campaign

The kingdom of Candantha, located on the western side of the continent of Oriax, has experienced recent years of stability under the rules of Merikeren Highstagg and his son Ekdrin. Merikeren consolidated his rule along the Candanthian peninsula and the near east of Sembiax. Later, a marriage brought the old Northern kingdom of Ilithyia into the fold through a marriage to Isanara. Ekdrin pushed the borders in all directions, especially into the Erlands. The Erlands are a series of mountain ranges and hilly country that extends far to the east and north. From his seat of power in Archenn, at the head of the Sembian Gulf, Ekdrin wants routes through the Erlands. He needs scouts to find the best routes. He also needs adventurers to tame the frontier of his land and make it easier for merchants to travel on these new routes through the mountains.
